We collect personal identification information from users when users purchase a product, register for an account, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our site and applications. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address and shipping address. We will collect personal identification information from users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain activities, like registering for an account or making a purchase. We will never share user information and all information is stored securely on our servers. We will only collect the strict minimum. We will only collect the shipping address if a package needs to be shipped to the user. We will never have access to credit card information, as all credit card or bank account information goes through our payment processor only. When a user registers for a Ouino Languages account, they will automatically be added to our mailing list and may occasionally be contacted for various reasons, including, but not limited to, satisfaction inquiries, tips and advice, update notifications and occasional sale offers. However, Ouino Languages is very selective in the number of emails sent to its users and will send no more than 10 emails a year (at the very most). The user can also choose to opt out of our mailing list at anytime. We also use the user’s ip address to detect the country of origin in order to show the correct currency on our checkout page. The currency defaults to USD, but can also show as EUR or GBP, if our api script (ipinfo.io) detects the appropriate country.
We may collect non-personal identification information about users whenever they interact with our site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about users, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information. We will never share this information with any third party and it is only used for statistics and performance optimization.
Ouino Languages may collect and use users personal information for the following purposes:
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of user personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our site.
We do not sell, trade, or rent users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.
